Stockport will be a quiet place on Saturday, with thousands of Hatters marking the resumption of our League programme with a jaunt to the seaside.
You know what to do...

Four thousand fans travel Across to the seaside to Cheer on a full(ish) strength Team to a 1 - 2 win.

I never saw County win at Blackpool. In fact, the most "memorable" event was witnessing the only occasion I can recall in which Tommy Sword missed a penalty. He hit the post with it, not that it would have made much difference, Blackpool scored 4!

The only time I've been to Bloomfield Road was at the business end of 90/91, where we lost 3-2 to an Andy Garner brace, I think David Eyres got the other.
I'm sure Trevor Sinclair came on as a sub for Blackers that day too.

Not Jonesy, Gaffer, he was much later, it was Redders in goal that day.

My first away match, I think!
Definitely Redders between the sticks that afternoon.

Blackpool is not a happy place at the moment. Great turn out from the 12th man. Seasiders very impressed with you all.

We did remark at the time how odd it was that Louie ran towards the home side of the ground, rather than the away one (to which both Fevrier and Tanto would instantly turn for their goal celebrations later on). Can only assume that he forgot where he was in the moment!

And....... Mr Critchley (Blackpool Manager) receives the "Stockport County Grand Order of the Chop" !!!!!
I wonder how many more we might see off this year ?
