Friday night will be County night at EP, as we face our third successive set of friendly opponents from the Championship. For anyone who's going along, it's a slightly early (7:30pm) evening kick-off.
(Separate thread going up shortly for our schlep up to Carlisle the following afternoon.)

Went to the match last night. Do know what’s going on. Looks like three more injuries. Although again like Stoke they should’ve really scored more. Although only a friendly it was plain to see how much quicker & stronger their players are. No injuries either. County looked a very make shift team. Granted there were four trialists. Movement far too slow, midfield not working. Bate didn’t seem to have the impact like the Stoke match. Not sure why Dwight Gayle was on trial. Maybe looking for game time to keep fit. We had a proven 20+ goal striker who we let go. Let’s hope no further injuries at Carlisle today.

Michael Mellon is said to be out for the season with an ACL injury, so he's probably being looked at as a possible replacement. He's still a very good player and way above most, if not all of what we have in terms of standard. |

I've never been one for retribution on the pitch, but after seeing that, I hope someone goes through that tw## like a 192 in the cup game.

Totally agree that was vindictive. You could see by the players body language & his team mate. The offender is Lewis Travis according the X post. Have the club requested an explanation & apology from Blackburn? If not they should do! That's totally wrecked the start to his season if not completely finished it. I was really looking forward to seeing him perform in a County shirt.

I don't care if it's a friendly, he should get a f***ing ban for that, with the referee facing questions from the FA. What was he doing to not have seen that blatant intent, watching a plane going over EP? |
