Does the Council still own EP or has the club/Mark Stott bought it back? It's still council-owned as far as I know, mate. I have to be honest, after what happened with Kennedy I'm happy with that. I'm not doubting Mark Stott's intentions, I just think the stadium ownership is better where it is right now.

Does the Council still own EP or has the club/Mark Stott bought it back? I think we have something like a 100 year lease on it

Thanks for confirming. I wonder if this will affect our tenancy? I would have thought the rent would go up with a larger stadium and increase in revenue. (Assuming planning permission is granted, although I doubt we would be submitting and application if we weren’t sure it would be approved).

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60471205A 250 year lease. I've a vague memory that the lease rental was based on mortgage rates for the £2M purchase price in 2015 but that might be just the early rental before the 250 year lease was agreed. If the club are paying for the renovations it shouldn't impact on the rental unless it was covered in the lease conditions. The cost to the council hasn't changed from when the lease was agreed.
