The late Richard Harnwell too, he was brilliant.

The best part of that video........... Jevons screaming in delight and relief as he approached the Pop Side after scoring that equaliser, genuine emotion. Lordy got it absolutely right when he made him our captain. His effort, professionalism and goals deserved far more than 14th in the Conference North, but it was good to see him putting in 100% right up until his last kick for us. Thanks again, Phil!  |

That was, without doubt, the highlight of the game for me on the day, gazza.
We Pop-Siders don't get the chance very often to join in goal celebrations quite so directly, and this particular one was certainly something special! The look on Jevo's face said it all - and if he isn't declared Player of the Season for us shortly, I shall want to know why...

This game had the best and worst of Conference North football. A cracking goal from Harrogate, some comedy missed chances and good honest toil.
Hope for better next season!
