Very depressing. The nightmare continues. We could go down. Disgraceful.

Turner hits the post with a low drive. And there are 4 minutes of added time...

"Depressing"
Causing or resulting in a feeling of miserable dejection.
Spot on.

Radio Gazz:
Never mind ars wanting to punch Nolan repeatedly in the face, give me Ryan McKnight, I'll stand there all day slapping that skinny rat-faced ****!

Radio Macc:
All over. Our bleak mid-winter has arrived early...
Radio Gazz:
Spare a thought for Ryan, he's apparently going on holiday for Christmas. Wonder if he wants in on radio Macc while he's away?

What are your thoughts on the game and general atmosphere, Tom?

I couldn't even be bothered to boo or show my disgust at the final whistle because I just didn't care. The best Christmas present I'm getting is the fact I can't make any of the three home games next week. It'll take all my energy just to care enough to check out how many we've lost by each time.

Did many stay around long enough to boo at the whistle, Sandy?

Don't think so mate but we were the first out as Sandy Jnr was frozen! You know what, McKnight should be made to look at the faces of the little ones like your son and be asked what he thinks of what he's given to them since he's been here. The man (if that's what you can call the skinny little b*****d), regardless of whose orders he's working to, should never be allowed near a professional business of any kind again. I hope the little man has warmed up now, mate, it's disgusting what our little Hatters are being subjected to now.

The little Hatter who sat with me would echo that, Gazza. He is nearly ten now, and seriously beginning to question why he watches this rubbish, week in week out, and five levels below that at which the teams supported by nearly all of his mates play.
And, after today, I can't say that I blame him.
While County competed on an even footing in the first half, and just after the break, they appeared simply bereft of ideas and cohesive play as soon as they conceded. Sir Rog is bang on the money when he describes it as "depressing". The only saving graces for me this afternoon were that:
(1) as season ticket holders, Macc Junior and I didn't have to hand over any money on the day;
(2) it was, as ever, a pleasure to catch up in The Oak beforehand with a number of other Heaveners: Sandy, Cap'n Beefheart, Sirius, Fudgie, County Tom, Chezbien and Modern Morrissey; and
(3) a Saturday afternoon alternative of shopping is one of the all-time Hatter in Macc hates, and, in spite of the wretched goings-on at EP, it's still one that I am grateful to avoid!

Good post, mate, and one that pretty much encapsulates what it's like being a County fan. I'd applaud it, but I think it would only serve to compound your misery, mate.
