For the second successive season, our third group game in the group phase will be a 'dead rubber' - albeit in different circumstances. Last October's Shrewsbury tie at EP was one from which neither side could benefit with qualification, whereas, this time around, both Tuesday's visitors and County are already through.
The matter of who tops the group, and gets seeded for home advantage in the Second Round, has yet to be settled. County must win to achieve that, while victory or a draw (with or without penalties... which would render a shoot-out the most meaningless of spectacles!) will see Bolton confirmed in first place.
It all gets going at 7:30pm, for anyone planning to pop along...
