Next up, another trip south - to Swindon, via (for those driving) the 'Magic Roundabout'!
Post it all here...

It looks like we have a game on our hands with 3 of their players returning from injury. I'll take a 0-1 win.

I'll do my best to avoid the magic roundabout and park before it and walk to the ground - its bonkers driving round it
As for the football - we have to start playing better soon and hopefully it starts tomorrow with a 3-1 win!
Also given the potential weather forecast I'm quite glad we are not on the Stratton Bank - where I have sat before - and last time I was there (a Tuesday or wednesday night) it was foggy all the way down and snowed heavily on the way back - horrible journey and I seem to remember losing 4-0

Hippolyte played for Grenada and scored, so is not available. Jaros has also been called up.

A crazy opening saw Madden knocking it to CLE who threaded it in for Knoyle to run onto. Knoyle was bundled over from behind without an attempt to play the ball leading to both a penalty and red card within 45 seconds. Madden jogged up to dispatch it and tamely hit to the 'keeper's right, missing a golden opportunity to put us firmly in command.
A minute or so later and I thought we had conceded a penalty when their player got goalside of Hussey. However, the ref blew and pointed for a FK to us, booking their man for simulation.
After 25 minutes or so we seemed to get into an odd pattern whereby we would widen the pitch through the defenders only to hit diagonals forward rather than to progress the ball on the floor to properly stretch the game and move their defence about. While I appreciate we may have identified they're not great at defending aerially, the cheap turnovers from crossing (often from deep) meant we didn't capitalise of having the extra man and playing the game in front if us, which was shouting to tire them out by progressing the ball to feet. Of course we may score from headers, but it's seemed too one-dimensional in that regard when the box numbers weren't in our favour.
Byrne's gone off injured and been replaced by Lewis, whose first involvement could have costed us a goal as he dribbled himself into trouble high up the pitch and they almost got Austin in - Wright's speed on the cover just enough to stop him.
We really have to turn this opportunity into 3 points... a whole game against 10 men and against a side we would have expected to have a lot of possession really can't come away as a draw (or loss!). Fingers crossed then...

Phew..... and Gillingham scored an extra time winner against Carlisle and Stevenage lost to Salford. Orient held by Hartlepool.

It wasn't looking good as we mostly played the 2nd half as we had the 1st half. Our bookings were building up and there was a sense that we were just not going to put anything together to break them down.
But then a (shinned) Lewis clearance defending their set-piece squirmed itself wide, nicely for Rydel to break down our left. He ran the ball with determination before finding the tireless Croasdale in the box, who slid it home. It was fitting as Croasdale had already forced 2 saves, threaded a number of positive balls forward and generally looked like one of the few with real drive to make something happen.
A largely poor game but those all important points came home, and they are made even sweeter with teams above dropping points today.
