The good run comes to an end but who deserves the MotM here?

Rather a few below-par performances, alas.
I will give the shout to Hussey for that free-kick, and his generally good work on the left.

None of them, they were shite from beginning to end. Beaten by a genuinely moderate side.

Sorry, but not one single player producing such dross. Rowe gets my vote for his brief cameo and shot.
The twelfth man of which I was one would have got the vote, but to be honest by not by much, however this was spoilt by the 'morons' singing paedo chants.

Mercifully, couldn't hear the chants from behind the press box glass opposite, Ceefs - but am really concerned about the minority of idiots latching on to County, given the bile that's been consistently coming out of their mouths on the road recently. They caused damage to seats at Wimbledon and Crewe, too. It must be horribly intimidating for fellow travelling Hatters to endure at close quarters - especially those with their children in tow.

It needs stamping out, Maccy. They were a great addition with their marches etc last season, but this season I'm reading some pretty negative stuff regarding those responsible, where fans who don't feel like singing at matches are being intimidated and sometimes bordering on being threatened into doing so, I personally wouldn't put up with that and nor should any other paying fan. The club needs to clamp down on those responsible, not least for these disgusting chants I'm hearing about, as that's not what supporting County should be about. There are fans that have been going to games home and away for decades, yet they're being told by these upstarts that they're not proper fans if they don't join in - seriously? It needs stamping out, and quick.. If they don't like being told to wind it in, they can always bugger off somewhere else.

Couldn't agree more, matey. I've heard somewhere that the County Co-op has written to the club in these terms (have I got that right, Ceefs/Hedgie?) - so, hopefully, something may come of that... although I'm also pretty certain that the club knows who the main perpetrators are.
It's a crying shame, when, as you say, the same individuals were giving County a real boost last term through their deeds at, and away from, games. In my world, it surely can't be too difficult to cut out the moronic and offensive stuff when singing - but it obviously, and sadly, is in theirs.

Some interesting comments on their match thread about, and I quote, Entitled County fans - quite a mind shift given how humble County fans have had to be in the, not too distant, past. I didn't see anything on there about off colour chanting from County fans, just lots of relief that they won't be going down and gladness that they are becoming a bit harder to beat.
There were also quite a few comments about the ground improvements that they must deliver and worries about whether they will be done in time to meet Football League requirements. That was a bit of a new one on me, how likely might it be if they didn't meet the requirements in time - would they be relegated on the strength (or weakness) of that?
DC clearly very unhappy in his post match interview. About the only player who might come out with some credit for me, "watching" on Twitter, was Hussey. Croasdale seems to have had a few games where he's been below his best, so maybe Sarce comes back and Croasdale warms the bench. Maybe also Hippolite for Rydel. What do people think of Camps?

Camps was far from his best yesterday, along with everyone else - but I've been really impressed with him over the preceding few games, after he's been given a run in the team.
My concern about him would be any attempt to change his role into a more defensive midfield one, should Croasdale be rested. His performance in that capacity on the opening day against Barrow was all wrong, and he was rightly hooked off at half-time. He needs to be able to rove upfield, and is at his most creative doing that.

Didn't DC say that new boy Davenport was a holding/defensive type midfielder?

Didn't DC say that new boy Davenport was a holding/defensive type midfielder? It says on the COWS article from when he signed that he's a holding midfielder, mate, so he can definitely step in for Croasdale if needed.

Hard to judge Davenport yesterday, but he did play an assured-looking cameo at Rochdale when he was introduced.

Hope the club can do something about it.
