Some of those statements were better than others. After the Trust and Lord Snape ('a genuine Stockport County fan if ever there was one' according to Rodger Wylde), I'd say the County experience is that supporters are the worst people to be allowed to run a club. If they could raise £200k I think they'd deserve a voting presence on the Board but I'll say again that the only answer for a club like ours is a benevolent dictator.

We need someone who has no affiliation to the club, who will see it and run it like a business, like Brendan Elwood did at first, a County fan whilst well meaning, would have the vision clouded by the giddy prospect of being the man/woman behind their clubs success.
