So a few games back I fondly imagined County entering a run of 8 games where they could make hay against mostly mid to lower table sides (see below). Now at present, with the Crewe game rearranged, County have played 2 W 0 D 1 L 1, but the rest of that run remains potentially promising. albeit 15 points now looks a bit steep. It's obviously important to return to winning ways and Crewe, in my humble opinion, are a good candidate for a return to winning ways. As DC has said recently, there are goals in this County side, but Crewe only seem to score 1 or 0.
So 15 points from those 8 is looks a bit steep, but I still think County could get maybe 12 from the next 6 games, perhaps even 14, which would actually give the 15 I thought achievable.
Come on County, this is a chance to make some hay before playing stronger sides towards the end of the season and Orient and Northampton Town look to be having a bit of a wobble.

I’ve certainly decided not to punish myself by spending £25 to attend the encounter. Added to that looks like the referee enjoys issuing yellow & red cards. 121 yellow last season & 75 so far this season. Will be interesting to see if there will be any additional signings before the transfer window closes.

I should be okay, though, as I always pay through my PayPal account as it's faster. I subscribe to Deezer through PayPal and I get alerts for every monthly transaction on my mobile via the PayPal app and emails, and I've never had more than one alert per match whenever I pay for streams, so I should be okay. I'll keep my eye on it, though, mate. |

This has been an absolute cabbage patch of a pitch, making the game a bit of a mess.
Byrne or Knoyle for MOTM, unless Wootton can double his tally late on.

My take on the match - there was more entertainment off the pitch from the 10 year olds misbehaving in the Crewe end.

There was very little quality on show last night. The goal, that was about it. I know the pitch wasn't the best. Several players looked very shaky & lacking in confidence. Johnson & Wright didn't have a good match. Unusual with Wright as he has recently been one of the best players. It was very messy like the Bradford game with players not controlling the ball even when there's no pressure. The end result of these bad performances looses the opportunity to close the gap on the top teams.

Particularly as Gillingham have been bank rolled and look likely to have turn their poor start around.
We lost 3 obvious points from that postponement.
