Next up, a new ground for County - with the new Plough Lane stadium having been built a couple of hundred yards away from the original Wimbledon's home of the same name.
Post it all here...

Have they allowed Kingstonian to have their old ground back?

Have they allowed Kingstonian to have their old ground back? Sold to Chelsea for their women and youth teams in 2016. They didn't allow Kingstonian to remain and they now groundshare with Tooting & Mitcham.

Shameful in my opinion. Kingstonian took them in and look how they were repaid.

I think the ground is leasehold and Wimbledon bought the lease from Kingstonian when they were in financial trouble, allowing them to stay on. With the new ground arriving, Wimbledon sold the lease to Chelsea who took the decision that Kingstonian would have to go.

Seems more likely that given their history Wimbledon wouldn’t make someone homeless.

Sadly, I cannot make this one. Bag the 3 points County! No aerial ping pong or tippy tappy please.
The Wombles do not appear to have a forum apart from a facebook page.

Apologies for the belated entry, I've been having a hectic week.
So who are AFC Wimbledon? Well having been relegated from L1 last season they are firmly in mid table mode, although with a fair bit of turnover on the playing squad that may change. So far their H record is not bad... P 12 W 5 D 4 L 3 F 14 A 11. The Ws were Gillingham 2-0 on opening day, Colchester 2-1, Harrogate T 3-2, Orient 2-0 and Grimsby 1-0, so that Orient scalp aside, fairly modest as most of these teams were or are struggling. The Ds were Doncaster 2-2, Crewe 1-1, Newport County 1-1 and Bratfut 0-0, again, Bratfut aside that's fairly modest. The Ls were Barrow 0-1, Northampton Town 0-2 and Sutton 0-1, also fairly modest.
Their top goal-scorers in the league are 5-foot&1/2 Josh Davidson on 8 (9 in total), South African MF Ethan Chislett with 7 (9 in total) and MF Ayoub Assal with 5 (10 in total). Assal of course has just been sold to Qatar Stars.
Wimbledon have been active in the transfer widow signing pacy forward Saikou Janneh on loan from Cambridge U (1 goal in 17 apps since joining from Bristol C), MF Armani Little on loan from Forest Green (2 goals in 25 apps this season, he was previously at Torquay), Iraqi International Ali Al-Hamadi from Wycombe (1 goal in 13 apps) has signed on a 2 and a half year deal and finally forward Sam Pearson on loan for the remainder of the season from Bristol C.
It's hard to parse anything very meaningful from all this although it's striking that they don't seem to be an old-school Wimbledon of route one up to Big John Fashanu, and they do seem to get goals from midfield so maybe they'll be organised but try to play football. County, of course, won the game at EP 1-0 thanks to Fraser Horsfall's goal.
All in all, I sense a County win but, as ever, fingers crossed.

Apologies for the belated entry, I've been having a hectic week. Your analyses are always appreciated, mate, so absolutely no need for the apology. I just hope your hectic week has calmed down now and you can enjoy the weekend. Excellent reading as always, mate.

Chris Hussey started his senior career at Wimbledon. It will be an emotional return if he travels.

It sounded like a feisty affair.
I am not sure about this not starting Madden. (who is our penalty taker.....). , although we had 9 corners. Croasdale taken off.... why?
I hope we do better against Crewe this Tuesday. Plenty of selection headaches for the gaffer.
