Akil Wright was especially classy, and gets my vote. I had a good view of his play from the press box, which, in League Two terms, is relatively close to pitch level - and everything he does looks so tidy and slick. His forays down the right led to both goals, too. Utterly brilliant.
'Highly commended' mentions to Bardsley for a distinguished debut, Horsfall for keeping in-form attackers at bay, and Collar for not allowing a bandaged head to get in the way of another great performance.

Wootton springs to mind with the 2 goals, but Bardsley was well organised and almost scored twice in the top corners, so Phil gets my vote.
Unsung hero is Crossy who never lets us down.

All of them But main contenders: Wright (For front to back play) Bardsley (for all over play, showed his knowledge and skill) Wootton (for 2 good goals) Hichclifee (for not having to do much at all) Collar (for being all over the park) But I will go Wright - self confident, controlled and bags of energy |
