I can't find a link to their forum so I can only think they don't have one. Looking forward to this one and hopefully a decent number of away fans with umbrellas.

Apologies for not posting a who are... thingy, I've been in poor health - last Monday I spent seven hours in Stepping Hell with that chest bug that's going round. "Fun" Fact: I'd sooner sandpaper my scrotum than go to that hell hole - having spent a lot of time there as a nipper.
Anyway, who are Crewe Alex, well they are no longer the Football Purists of Dario Gradi's day. Following last season's relegation they seem to have anchored themselves in mid table, but there A record is poor - P 9 W 2 D 4 L 3 F 5 A 12. The A Ws include a 1-0 at Swindon in Nov and 1-2 at Rochdale on opening day. The 4 Ds are 1-1 v AFC Wimbledon, 1-1 v Hartlepool, 0-0 at Bratfut and 0-0 v Carlisle. The Ls are Barrow 3-0, Tranmere 3-0 and Salford 3-0 so a hat trick of 3-0s.
Noseying through the comments section on the BBC for the game against Swindon the Robins fans were making lots of comments about diving and cheating - most un-Gradi like. That said it sounds as though Crewe 2022 are, like many a side low on talent, competing physically and by getting men behind the ball and then trying to break -so expect plenty of fouls to break up play and Wayne Biggins levels of Dive Dive Dive action.
That said, they do seem to have a goal in them, but seemingly only the one in any game. They scored 2 v Rochdale on opening day, 2 H v Northampton Town and 3 H v Harrogate Town in Aug. Since then it's been 1 or none. Top scorers are Courtney Baker-Richardson on 7 and Daniel Ageyi on 6. After them its Lachlan Brook on 2 and 4 others on 1 apiece.
So all in all a game where scoring first will, as usual, be key. Get one up and they will have to open up and chase the game. Let them score first and they will park the Bus, although that may well be their whole game plan anyway - just get a 0-0.
Hmmm, Banana Skin, fingers crossed....

I'm might be in better form than MSH at the moment - he being subb'ed, hopefully it's precautionary given how important he is to County.

Phew, actually, make that double phew. Paddy's header from a Rydel cross and then Will Collar makes it two.
I must confess I was getting a bit antsy at 0-0, visions of when County battered Mansfield at EP and somehow lost 1-0.

A very dull game against a very poor Crewe side. I wouldn't be surprised if they get relegated.
We weren't much better until the second half, not taking our many chances It's probably not surprising due to the long break.
Happy with the points and we will need to up our game for the Walsall match.
Does anyone know how MSH is?

Does anyone know how MSH is? Hopefully it's not serious, he's been so unlucky this season.
