For any English members that still care... My Dad always messaged me on St George's Day, always had a flag in his window at home and one flying proudly on his car, never once forgetting to do so. Even though some idiots in this country fly and march under it for the wrong reasons, my Dad knew what it means and was proud to be English. Today will be the first time he's not going to be able to message me, so this one's for you, Dad xx Happy St George's Day.

Big scout St George's parade tomorrow for us. It's the one event that everyone is expected to attend, and rightly so.
This year my youngest is carrying the flag - he'll hate the attention, but has quiet pride in being chosen.
'Can he walk in a straight line and look intelligent?'
'Will one out of two do...?'
Ah, dad jokes, embarrassing kids since Adam was a dad 🙂
