I thought about adding on Notts County, Wrexham (and I've now added those two) and Torquay but a) that would make a very long list and b) they show up pretty often just in the top 5 fixtures anyway. With the fixtures coming thick and fast this is when you find out who can handle pressure and injuries and suspensions pile up. Whisper it: I fancy County's chances of coming out of this phase on top. Happy to correct any errors spotted.

If County can maintain their present form throughout March we could (?) be a few points clear before the sticky end of the season occurs. It would be nice to have a cushion before we hit that challenging run in series of games.

Thanks, AH. Hopefully we won't see too much disruption through weather postponements as that can have quite a bearing if sides get Saturdays moved to Tuesdays, especially away. Interesting to see what bearing some sides in good form but outside playoffs (Southend, Torquay) have on matters.

I honestly don't fear any team in this division anymore (like under the previous manager!), I think most of the teams will be fearing playing County and trying to find a way to stop this onslaught we're dishing out at the moment.

The main ones to watch are obviously Boreham Wood but they are going to be playing a lot of Saturday / Tuesday / Saturday games in the final few months of the season to catch up on fixtures which might play to our advantage.

So any ideas how I could do that - maybe just copy/paste into a new post and then edit that?

The edit function works ok for me, so not sure what is causing the difficulty. Gazz is our resident tech-wizard, though, so it may be worth awaiting his advice on a work-around!

In the meantime, I could enter the results to date on your original post if that would help? Just let me know...

So I've edited to add in the results to date (2nd Mar) and also to add in the fixtures for Notts County and Wrexham (who both cropped up a fair bit to start with). Torquay still seem to pop up a lot and they may now be best thought of as spoilers, along with Grimsby, sides that could beat any of the top teams on their day.
Bringing in Notts County and Wrexham just reinforces that the next few weeks see most of the top team facing off against each other, and therefore potentially denying each other points and maybe denting Championship aspirations.
It really is important for County to maximise the next few weeks - still against weaker teams for the most part. Points on the board and pressure on the opposition is what's needed.
