Pinched from MMB but with the details.
Revolutionary season ticket details from Gloucester. Will be interesting to see what the take up is, but at least they are trying something different. Maybe County could learn something from this?
"Gloucester City has announced a significant change....
....to its pricing structure for the 2014/2015 season.
The Skrill North club will allow free entry for anyone under the age of 18, for any league fixture, and there will be exciting offers on season ticket prices for all, including the chance of getting one free.
Tigers' vice-chairman Mike Dunstan said: “We have been planning for next season for some months and keep coming back to the simple question; how can we get the kids in our City to love and support their home town club?
“We have knocked several ideas around but have decided on the radical approach and, from next season we are throwing our doors open to everyone under the age of 18, with entry completely free!”
The club will be keeping its current match-day pricing structure with adults paying £12 and senior citizens £6. However, in keeping this, the club wants more fans will take advantage of the brilliant season ticket prices available.
Benefits will include:
An actual price reduction on last season’s prices making early-bird tickets just £190 for adults and £95 for senior citizens
A £10 voucher to spend on merchandise in the club shop
The option of paying over three or (for early bird tickets) four months
Two vouchers for £5 entry to pass on to friends or family to encourage new supporters
At least six free prize draws throughout the season for significant prizes such as “director for the day”, pre-match meals and signed shirts.
Existing season ticket holders can receive 20% off the cost of your ticket for every new adult season ticket holder they introduce to the club; and 10% for every senior citizen.
Five adult sales would result in the existing ticket holder getting next season’s ticket completely free!
Dunstan said: “We have increased season ticket sales in each of the last four years, but we need a step-change in sales if we are to take the club to the next level.
“The fans get a great deal and the club gets an increased fan base and assured income so everyone wins!” "
