Happy Sunday folks. Just watching MOTD this morning, and I have to admit that I don't usually watch it and I've remembered why.
First game Liverpool (or should I say Loverpool) because the commentators on MOTD talk in inflections when Loverpool are on the attack as though they're expecting every attack to result in a goal. Gushing at Loverpool and disrespectful to Southampton, the commentator thinly veiling his doubt that Southampton could stop them scoring.
2nd game. Palace v Villa. Both teams are usually towards the bottom of the running order, but put two Premier League 'legends' in charge and they're all of a sudden 2nd on the bill..
