Why we like Alty: (1) They beat Chesterfield. (2) And this...

Excellent day for us, except for that extraordinary finish at Wrexham.

Agreed Eppers. Just hope they defend like that next week as well.

Apparently Matty Warburton missed a pen in Halifax's L against Kings Lynn, their second defeat in consecutive games. Insane scoreline at Wrexham and on their fan forum they reckon Wrexham were shambolic at the back which, well I guess it's self evident really but yeah Trouble at T'Mill. They have no confidence in their young 'Keeper Dibble: so let's hope he has a 'mare against County next week.
Boreham Wood and Bromley are fading as I expected they would but even Daggers and Torquay can't really be ruled out just yet.
Still a lot to play for and a lot of games in about 7 weeks. Fingers crossed.

We can relax this week and let the league sort itself out behind us. Nothing we can do now until April 9th and the visit of Southend. Easter weekend with Grimsby away, and Solihull at home will go a long way to see how simple the run in will be.

Chesterfield continue to stumble and look out of the title race. Grimsby on a bit of a roll at the right time.
An expected win for Halifax and unfortunately, Maidenhead couldn't do us a favour at Solihull.
A trip to Wembley would have been nice. Promotion is essential.
Only priority now is beating Southend.

Absolutely, Eps. Hopefully, as can often be the case after a big game, Wrexham are flat on Tuesday and Barnet can take a couple of points off them.

Barnet have come into some decent form of late so fingers crossed they can upset Wrexham. Bromley beat York City 3-0 so they will face Wrexham in the final. Solihull Moors are in good form so could upset Halifax on Tue. County still very much in control of their own destiny. 10-man Woking just upset Boreham Wood 1-0 with a late penalty.

Two games to keep an eye out for:
Halifax (W9 D2 L4 in 2022) v Solihull Moors (who are also on quite a run of W9 D3 L1 in 2022) Wrexham (W 14 D 2 L 2 in 20220 v Barnet (W4 D5 L7 in 2022)
Solihull could even emerge as title contenders depending on things how go with Halifax, they also have yet to play Wrexham and County as well as clutch of lower level teams.
Fingers crossed.

Halifax finished 0-0 with Solihul - best result for us.
Wrexham thumped Barnet 6-0 - worst result for us.
8 points clear.

Six different Wrexham players scored last night, and that makes them dangerous. If we don't win on Saturday and they do, we're in trouble.
For the first time since DC came in I'm a little bit concerned. Losing MSH to injury has been a massive blow for us, but it also seems as though others such as Collar have lost some of their edge.
We really need to get our arses in gear here, or we could end up getting caught.
I've got a bad feeling about this.

Still think we have enough in the tank to finish this before we play Wrexham again.

Wrexham get a winning penalty about 8 minutes into stoppage time.
Anyone else get the feeling that there's something dodgy going on here? Serious question.
