Just had a chat with a fly, who over heard the following from EP:-
"The peasants are revolting and bringing that petition thingy tomorrow to the game, what shall we do?"
"Oh, just tell them some wishy washy waffle that the 'silent' are giving up their whatsits, but don't tell them who, especially whether it includes Spencer"
"OK, what about the season tickets?"
"Well, after, (and make sure it is after), you issue the vague statement, issue another one to remind them to cough-up"
"Won't they query it though?"
"And?"
"OK then"

Fan representation... I will believe it when I see it..
The statement needs some meat to it. Name and shame and publish.
I would be surprised if anything changes short term.

just as a quick read, it's an extraordinarily positive statement. obviously it translates as 'the majority are f***ing sick of being badgered and have finally waved the white flag. them two fellas that have kept chucking money in are staying, and unfortunately there's a handful of cling-ons as well whose shareholdings will have to be prised out of their cold, dead hands'.
that's still positive (with the enormous caveat of if true). hopefully it will become easier to identify the cling-ons as well.

All very well but ACTIONS speak louder than words and after all this has been going on for months now.
Fan representation? Wonder what the bookies odds would be?
I will believe it when the club comes out and names the shareholders and actions taken / completed along with providing proof from Companies House.

How many times are we going to fall for it? They've held onto this bullshit statement and released it right on top of not only the STs going on sale, but also the petition being handed in.
It's a crock of sh*t.

Anyone needing further proof of this man's lack of respect for us: The biggest day for the club will be when he f**ks off, along with the deadbeat shareholders that are killing us slowly with their lack of interest.

What a missed opportunity. It sounds like maybe some progress has been made and we now have fewer shareholders. If those people really did lend us money to get us out of administration and have now written off that loan, then that is something to be celebrated and we should all be thankful. The whole situation has been dealt with so badly and the communication so nebulous that you can't be anything other than cynical. And the tweet just caps it all off. That vacuous man has got to go.

agree with all your points there epworth. thanks to the shareholders for bringing us out of administration but little else. thanks and goodbye to ryan...for regional football. hope the yellowboard rumour is true and he is on his way to stockport station to buy a single ticket with his student railcard.
