My only memory of Terry is that he was the Brum boss the season our coach window got put through by their fans a few hundred yards from St Andrews, Killer missed a penalty then got got sent off and we ended up losing 3-0 - but we got them back at our place!
RIP, Terry.

Think I am right in remembering that his son, Mark, got a straight red card playing for the Blues at EP in the last game of the 1991/92 campaign?
Our win that day left them having to settle for second place, with Brentford going up as Third Division Champs.

Our win that day left them having to settle for second place, with Brentford going up as Third Division Champs. Indeed he did, taking Frainy out with an aerial challenge, if I remember correctly? It was a nasty atmosphere that day, I do remember that much. I'm sure I remember Liverpool were rumoured to be looking at him around that time too.

A really sobering discovery is that, following Terry Cooper's passing, 15 of the 22 England players who went to the 1970 World Cup in Mexico have now left us. The seven from the squad who remain are: Bobby Charlton, Allan Clarke, Geoff Hurst, Francis Lee, Alan Mullery, Alex Stepney, Tommy Wright.
