Only potential downside is having three players in action three days before our Saturday contest with Torquay - on 2nd April - although we could be in a Trophy semi-final that afternoon instead.
No call-ups for a couple of promotion rivals - Boreham Wood and Halifax - noted.

According to Sam Byrne, the players and Club found out via Twitter. Deary me.

I've never understood who or how the players are picked.
Good for our players egos but hoping they don't get injured.

THIS!!! While I'm chuffed for the lads, I can't help thinking that we've been chucked a potential banana skin here. It's an honour obviously, but I honestly think DC should be having a conversation with those three. I'm sorry if this goes against the grain, but County needs to come first.

Also, whose idea was it to have this game right in the middle of the business end of the season? Absolute f***ing idiocy.

With injuries striking Chesterfield (Tshimanga's leg/ankle break) and now Wrexham (keeper Rob Lainton - broken wrist) it got me thinking about County's injury list. Off the top of my head we've been pretty lucky this season. Sarcevic was out for a while, Quigley hasn't been fully effective to his normal standard. Now we've got both wing backs out MSH "hopefully" for a couple of weeks, maybe a bit longer but also Rydel who's been out for a few weeks (anyone know if/when he's due back?)
Have I missed anyone out? Hogan maybe missed a few when DC first arrived. Anyone else?
If not then that is pretty fortunate I'd say. Fingers crossed we get both WBs back in time for the final run in.

As well as those mentioned, I believe Crankshaw, Fryers, Keane, Madden and Whitfield can be added to the list of those who have missed games through illness/injury - Whitfield's saw him out for 3 months. Ross, Sarcevic, Kitching and Hogan missed games through suspension, I think, and MSH missed 3 after his red in Rusk's final game.

Aye I'd forgotten about Whitfield. Otherwise, in terms of long term (weeks and weeks) injuries we've been pretty fortunate. Which might mean a rash of injuries is around the corner.... yikes! Fingers crossed it won't happen.

This news - released by the club just ahead of yesterday's kick-off - possibly went a little under the radar, although Ross was, at that very time, preparing to make his on-loan debut for the 'Shots'. Not a great start for him there, mind, as they went down to three King's Lynn goals at home...

Bad news as MSH could be out for 6-8 weeks. Hope he makes a good recovery.

Bad news as MSH could be out for 6-8 weeks. Hope he makes a good recovery. That's devastating news. Where did you hear this, Ceef? If it's true, that's his season over for sure. I'm gutted for us, but more gutted for him, as he's been outstanding this season.
