I haven't posted anything on here before about this awful accident in Blackpool as I wasn't sure how to reflect the response that there has been local and now nationally.
Jordan played for Clifton Rangers Juniors, the same club that my eldest son played for many years ago. He was being coached on the fields next to our WF Senior Seasider's clubhouse in South Shore. One of our players is a coach at his Junior Club. I once worked with the Head of his Primary School.
So the feeling is quite raw as this is so very close to home in many ways.
Tonight at WF we held a minutes silence in respect for the poor lad and his family complete with nine footballs, a club shirt and the Clifton Flag on the ground. A club donation will be made to their Just Giving Page.
What a great tribute from Liverpool FC tonight. Pure class.
RIP little man with a big heart.

Truly heartbreaking, Lennie. My thoughts and condolences go out to his family, friends and everyone else that knew him.
Rest in peace, Jordan.

The word 'tragedy' is often overused in football, but this is a real, and desperately sad, one.
Thoughts are with Jordan's family and friends, as well as the people of Blackpool. It has clearly hit the town hard.
Fly high, little man.

Both of my boys' teams - and, indeed, every team across the Mid-Cheshire Youth League, for that matter - will be holding a minutes silence before their fixtures tomorrow.
Such a horrible tragedy.
RIP Jordan.
