I remember him playing alongside Bobby Colville. With Bobby doing all the running and Frank providing the magic.

Lived life to the full, and an outrageously talented footballer. We were lucky to see him at County, even for a later stage of his career.
RIP, Worthy.

One player that thoroughly deserved to be called 'Super Frank'.
A phenomenally talented player, one that epitomised the 1970s maverick. I think all us blokes of a certain age tried to emulate 'that' Bolton goal in the playground! RIP, Frank.

My mate from Huddersfield always told the tale of FW arriving (regularly) for games 20 minutes before kick off with a young lady on each arm.
He wouldn't last a week in today's game ------ off the pitch.
A true genius and a pure entertainer.
RIP Sir Frank

we used to lean on the popside wall as close to half way as we could. frank regularly took five out there, accepted the odd sweet from a cheeky child, and joked with the linesmen of the day. one of a kind, and certainly of a time. RIP frank.
