Was it from 3 down at EP against Swindon, and didn't Luke Beckett score a hat-trick? TBH going from memory, as I wasn't there. I did go v Walsall in 96-97 when we equalised late, late on. Almost feels like a victory.

25 plus years ago we came back from being 3 down at Cardiff City after 15 minutes to take a 3 all draw which was fairly memorable. On the downside I can recall during the mid 80's being 3-1 up at halftime down at Torquay on a Friday night. We came out all defensive-like in the 2nd half in a bid to hold on to what we'd got and ended up losing 4-3.

The Phil Jevons hat-trick to secure a 3-3 draw against Guiseley in 2014 stands out from more recent seasons.

Big Kev against Stoke at the Vic (2-2) in our first season back in the third tier in 1991/92.
I remember we were 2-0 down at half-time to two Wayne Biggins goals when Mark Lillis hooked in to make it 2-1 in the second half. I was stood behind the goal right up against the fence just to the left-hand hand side of the goal.
I remember shouting to Kev late on as he was taking his position at the near post for a corner. He had his head down and was looking a little dejected when I shouted to him to "keep your head up, Kev, it'll come, mate", and I swear he looked up right at me then looked away.
It wasn't long after that when, at full stretch, he poked home the equaliser and everyone behind the goal went mental. Kev ran right over to where I was stood and was celebrating towards me with Tash on his back and (I think) John Paskin to his side and I was just screaming right back at him "f***ing get in!"
That was a great day out and I was absolutely buzzing for ages afterwards and still do whenever I think about that game.
I know it's probably getting boring now, but Kev is one hundred percent my favourite footballer ever and that memory is so vivid whenever I think back!
Great thread idea, Collinge!

During the early 80's we played Oldham in League Cup 2nd round tie. We lost the 1st leg 2-0 at home but in the 2nd leg Mick Quinn got one (he may have got the 2nd too) and by half time we'd pulled it back to 2-2 on aggregate and stood there on that windswept terrace, surely the coldest place on earth to watch football before they enclosed it by putting a roof on the stand, the handful of us who'd made the trip dared hope. Unfortunately it didn't last as it finished 2-2, 2-4 on aggregate.

I know it's probably getting boring now, but Kev is one hundred percent my favourite footballer ever not for me mate. i'm still exactly the same, and when i saw this thread (belatedly), that stoke game was the first one i thought of because we were the minnows and we were getting what we deserved at mighty stoke. until suddenly we weren't.
palace at selhurst from three down is also another one for me. sitting in the sun at the front dead pleased with ourselves while the palace fans went apoplectic and started singing about harold shipman to us.

For me it has to be Crystal Palace away, been in the pub, nearly didn't get through the gate after far too much alcohol, 3-0 down and then everytime my mate (Offerton Hatter) went to the toilets we scored. It was such a blur - think it was an Ian Moore hattrick from my very blurred mind! Went back to the pub afterwards - surprised I can remember anything

The 2-2 at Stoke was enjoyable because even though we had drawn we had given a good account of ourselves and we were seen as credible opponents rather than plucky underdogs.
The Cardiff 3-3 was a strange one and the walk back to the station after the game was hairy to say the least. I've spoken to quite a few who were there and most weren't in the ground when the first couple of goals went in. I got in at 3-0 down along with a dozen others. I can't remember where the time went and how it was that so many were late getting there.
Favourite comeback game was at Plymouth in 93. behind 3 times we fought back to win 4-3.

also remember being 3-0 down at barnsley and coming back to 3-3. i might be conflating more than one game here, but i think it was one where we got absolutely battered and boaz myhill (on loan) put in one of the best goalkeeping performances i've seen for us, even though he conceded three.
there was a decent 2-2 at gillingham on a night match where we were behind twice. also enjoyed the 1-1 at watford in carlton palmer's first game where right near the end their player swung, missed, and it went agonisingly (for all in yellow) in off his standing foot. one of the greatest comedy goals, and that always puts a spring in your step leaving the ground. plus, that, and the ones at the victoria ground and oakwell were right in front of us, so you naturally feel more in the thick of it and it's fans and players celebrating together.

Just to add in a game from our Championship-winning season, one stand-out was the November 2018 home draw v (hideous foes) Brackley.
We were losing 1-0 and JG had been sent to the stands after trying to retrieve the ball, their assistant trying to trip him over and JG confronting him (cue the assistant falling over).
In the 90th minute they were through on goal to finish us when Hinchliffe made a great save.
As we headed into the 5th minute of added time, the CE was trying to suck the ball into the net. Everyone was up for the corner, including Hinchliffe. Duxbury whipped in a delicious near post ball and Mulhern leaped like a salmon to flick it home. The roar was simply incredible.
So yeah, it had a lot of elements which made it memorable and emotional. As we went on to find out, only a point separated us from Chorley as we went on to win the league.

1-0 down then 2-1 down at Everton in 1995/96 season. Ian Helliwell’s diving header from a Chrissy Beaumont cross is one of my favourite County goals. The ball from Toddy(?) to Beaumont split the Everton defence in half!
