Thankfully it’s looking likely the National League North and South playoffs will be going ahead!
No strong feelings either way about losing Chorley. They are a northern club and probably a decent size to hold their own in step 6. More often than not we seemed to be on the wrong end of the result when we played them. I won’t miss them but wish them well.
Ebbsfleet/Maidenhead are just nondescript tinpot southern clubs that I have no desire to see County play again in a competitive fixture.
It will be excellent if the horrible Brexity hobby club Fylde go down. There’s only one team on the Fylde coast and they play in tangerine! You’ve had your fun Haythornthwaite, now f*** off!
Also I would very much welcome the addition of Altrincham, York or Chester. Hoping one of those 3 teams can win the playoffs... you just know it’s going to be Brackley though!

Altrincham or York.
Just think Chorley should beat Fylde next season.

Altrincham or Chester would be my personal preferences, nice local games, decent away days, no real animosity between the clubs despite all being Cheshire rivals.
Either way, f**k Fylde!

you just know it’s going to be Brackley though! while i agree almost completely GTS, brackley's not the worst run out for a southern away day, we found some cracking pub food on the outskirts, and i've seen county D,W,W on the three occasions i've been, so don't knock 'em (other than for being tinpot and geographically).

Good post, gts. Macc's Marketing Manager (Simon Dawson's equivalent) lives on my street, and he and his young family have been going through a really tough time because of this. I reckon he would pretty much concur with everything you say about his own club's behaviour. Didn't we have their ex assistant marketing manager working with Simon Dawson for a bit. I am not sure what happened to him.

We did, Ceefs. (It was someone other than my near-neighbour.) No idea what became of him, either, though!

Sadly unless they get some serious financial backing I can't see them surviving long next season. The league won't tolerate any more late wage payments, they owe money to Sol Campbell and also to the taxman.
Taking of Sol he played a blinder in the Euro 2004 Portugal match just shown on BBC1.

It makes me question the wisdom of buying a season ticket. My Manager will be thrilled to bits with "can't come in because I'm self-isolating due to visiting a football match" yep, definitely see that one going down well
