Luxembourg are the only UEFA Nation to compete in every World Cup qualifying stage, some teams like France come close but due to hosting it twice didn't have to qualify for them tournaments.
2. Which country was the first to wear names on the back of their shirts in a World Cup tournament?
England were the first ever nation to have names on shirts at Euro 92 but at the World Cup...Germany or Bolivia is the answer, as that was the opening game at the 1994 World Cup in the USA, the first World Cup to use names on players shirts.
3. Which country has been to the World Cup 8 times but has never once made it past the 1st Round?
Scotland in '54, '58, '74, '78, '82, '86, '90 and '98 but never once progressed past the group stage.
4. Any of the Four players to have been to 5 World Cups?
Antonio Carbajal of Mexico in '50, '54, '58, '62 and '66 Lothar Matthäus of Germany in '82, '86, '90, '94 and '98 Rafael Márquez of Mexico in '02, '06, '10, '14 and '18 (Sidenote, Gianluigi Buffon was selected in every Italy squad from '98-'14 but didn't play in '98)
