Great stuff, hedge. epworthhatter was the even taller and balder one with harrogatehatter (he my brother, if you couldn't tell!) It was a good half time chat, just a shame Snow Patrol drowned out half our conversation as we were stood right under the tannoy speakers!
Here's to a better performance and result on Saturday. Not massively hopeful, though. They had some big lads (both in height and looking like they hadn't missed a meal for a while) and we did look a bit lightweight.

rather glowing praise on the NLF here hedge: Solihull Moorman "another_ruined_saturday wrote: detailed match report from one of ours here: hedgegrower.blogspot.co.uk/The standard of the football being played by your team may not be good but that cannot be said of your Match reporting. I have to say it was a poor performance yesterday. We didn't help ourselves by playing Dennis on his own up front. It seems that without Jevons we are very light in attacking options.
Can't argue with the scoreline we deserved to lose and did. I was pleasantly surprised by Guiseley (without trying to sound very patronising but I guess it's too late now). They are a very big team in that they had a lot of players over 6 foot and well stacked but got the ball down well and had not a few skillful players. I'm not sure how the number 9 didn't get their sponsors man of the match?!
For County I'd say that only Moses played well and worked hard throughout. Duxbury did well as ever but his terrible mistake for the first goal counts against him.
Will do well to turn round this performance for Saturday, another defeat on the cards methinks.

yeah, he was mainly pretty good again, but he ought to have that credited to him as an assist - he couldn't have managed a more accurate knockdown to their player if he'd tried...
