Does anyone here understand the National Leagues vote to end the season?
What exactly are the club's voting for and how will this affect promotions and relegations. A I have heard is Barrow should be promoted, bit does that mean no one will be relegated..doesn't seem fair....
Anyone have any insight into what is going on...you can see I'm bored....

As I understand it, Ceefs, the forthcoming vote is simply about ending the season, and leaving the matches outstanding unplayed. This will not cover the issues of promotion and relegation.
But, assuming that is carried, it looks set to be the first in a series of resolutions put before clubs, as, first, the National Leagues North and South, and then the National League, will get the chance to vote on actual outcomes: whether to promote from the NLN and NLS (no relegation there, given that the Leagues below are voided); whether to promote and relegate from the NL; how to determine finishing positions; whether (possibly) to use play-offs; or whether to declare the campaigns null and void.

I don't envy anyone having to make these decisions, because no matter what they choose, it will be the wrong one!

Tricky one this because at the moment there must be some doubt as to whether the lockdown will have been lifted to allow large crowds to gather at major sporting events in time for the start of the next season, never mind the end of this one

I can see the next season starting, just not in front of anyone except the coaching staff, match officials and the odd news reporter.

I reckon it will be next season before they have voted on all the points and then when Fylde are voted down it will take 2 years to go through the courts.... ;

He wouldn't be saying that if his team were top of the league - what an utter tw##. Blackpool may have been to hell and back while he turned his attentions to Failed instead, but that journey should be considered to have been well worth it, as it saved them from having parasites like him in the boardroom.
