Not often that I would contemplate giving the shout to a substitute, but Adam Thomas changed the game following his introduction for the second half. Scored the all-important goal that restored County's lead, buzzed about without stopping, and delivered a wonderful assist for our fourth.

Good performances from Osborne and Thomas when he came on but I'm going for Dan Cowan. Again, not played for a while and gives a solid all-round performance including a great cross for the goal. Why this lad os out of the squad is a real mystery. While I'm at it, I'm getting a bit suspicious about the Festus situation. He has been poor for a while and was poor again today. The surprise is that JG hardly criticises him, unlike most of the other players. Is JG playing him continually to get a league club to come and make an offer?

T Walker for me although Cowan, Osborne and Thomas played well. I just hope we can extend the loans come January for T Walker and Rodney and sign up Garrett.

Maybe Jim remembers Danny's loyalty from his own playing days where, at times, he was not having the best of games himself and some of our fans seemed to turn up just to slag him off. Danny was 100% right in sticking with Jim and his critics were put firmly in their place. Indeed, you never hear a bad word said about Jim these days regarding his time as a player, but some of the abuse he got back then was f***ing disgraceful. I trust Jim 100% with this, he knows what he's doing. If he didn't, we'd still be in the division below. Have faith.

A 3-way split it is then, leaving our table looking like this:
