In the second half after the traditional halftime exodus, I was up at the back of the pop side just about halfway inside the Brentford half. I remember the Benstead save, as it did look over the line to me. I remember Phil Collister going bananas just behind the goal to back that up too.
The Kev winner was just pandemonium, with guys I didn't even know, we were just jumping all over each other and hugging and going mental, never known anything like it at EP before or since.
Jim was a colossus too that day, Holdsworth didn't get a sniff. i also remember there being 1,300 at EP the following Tuesday when Jim got that hat-trick against York in the Autoglass, considerably more came along for the later games!
Some fantastic memories on that guy's YouTube channel, huge thanks to him for putting then up.

A collection of Ian Moore's County goals:
Note the celebration at Tranmere, did the same to us when he came back to EP during his second spell playing for them, showing just why you should never take that stuff personally.

Those Monkey chants from the Burnley fans at Turd Moor fully audible in the first leg, I've despised those bastards ever since, Wembley '94 only cemented that hatred. I was there and it was worse than it sounds on the video, but Kev shoved it right up them!

From August 1992:
They really were fantastic times, I feel so lucky to have witnessed them first hand.

Because I can't wait until Saturday, I've just had a watch of this video... it is absolutely great stuff! Brings back such good memories: fantastic players, great atmospheres, and turning up to County games expecting a win - which itself is a novelty!
But what I liked most was Hi-Ho Silver Lining being played over the credits! I miss that being played before the game at County! Any way we could get it back? It's a real feel-good track when everyone sings "Stockport County!" over the chorus!

This one was discussed on The Tea Party Podcast and is taken from their youtube channel: "The game wasn't officially televised, and I believe the footage was obtained by County chairman Freddie Pye, with a Super 8 camera in the directors box." - Dave Espley

I don't usually like watching old highlights these days, but for Big Kev and Super Al I'll always make an exception - I don't know why, but for some reason I'd forgotten just how good Alun was with his head!
What a great time that was to be going to EP.
