Our final player is Ian Rush.
I'd planned to announce the final results, link and winner today, but I've had to take the day off with the boys and all the scores are in the office so it will be Monday now.
Cheers!

Yikes! Not sure I can stand the tension. Have I dropped out of the top 3, like I usually do?!
At least I’ve got a trip to the States to distract me. Currently at Manchester Airport awaiting a flight to JFK. Sadly, it’s work - Sunday to Thursday, back Friday morning.
I can’t even follow the football, so here’s hoping I land to County 3 points.

Right then.
Quite a few 'full-markers' this week, but as our top two were among them, that means there's no change to the business end of the table.... yet.
Here's the table without the bonus points:
1. Eppers 21 2. BBLW 20 3= Hermann 18 Maccy 18 5= Archie 17 Market Harborough 17 7. Gazz 13 8. Ceefer 11
Stay tuned for the link!

Ok, what connects the following players?
Lionel Messi (Messy) Tom Cleverley (Clever) Eider Gudjohnson (Good) Ruud Gullit (Rude) Ian Rush (Rush)
That's right, is popular children's book series, the Mr Men!
Roughly half of you got the link, but to make matters very interesting, none of our top three were first to get there....

So, (bonus point) congratulations go to Market Harborough, for being first to identify the Mr Men as the link, for the full 10 extra points. Well played, Sir.
That wasn't enough to guarantee Market Harborough top spot, however (although he does leap up the table to claim a podium finish), and with Eppers being second to the link, he just about hangs on for the title!
Here's the final table:
1. Eppers 30 2. BBLW 28 3. Market Harborough 27 4. Hermann 25 5. Archie 23 6. Macc 18 7. Gazz 13 8. Ceefer 11
Congratulation to Eppers, and also Lennie and MHH for their runners-up positions.
Thanks, everyone, for taking part, and hopefully allowing young Sandy Jnr to take over the quiz was a nice change?!
Quiz 102 will (hopefully) not be too far into the future!

Well played, everyone, especially those who got that link! Congratulations to Eps on a fine win! As for our young Quizmaster, I reckon Sandman senior had better watch out, because I think Sandman junior might just be pinching his job soon! Many thanks for a fantastic quiz and link, young man!

Well that was a cliff hanger. Great play from Eppers for the win and I will take second to that.
That must have been an early link breaker from you and MHH . I thought I had done well reading Sandy Jnr's mind at the end of the first week.
Fantastic quiz and we look forward to you next contribution.
Cheers Sandies.
