Think that might be the last we see of Moke for a while, Lordy has criticised his attitude before and I wouldn't be surprised if he gave him a few weeks to remember what sitting on the bench feels like.

I've read a lot of posts on YB questioning his contribution, but having not seen him myself yet I can't comment. His substitution did seem to coincide with our second half revival though.

Radio Macc:
All over. Improved performance after the break - but could, and should, have held on for the win.

Moke was nonexistent in the first half last week and never came out for the second half.

Thought we only had ten men in first half , If Jevon's lob was scored by a prem player we'd be watching it all week on sky sports I knew as soon as fatty got the piss taken out of him he would score ( or assist a goal ! )

Not too disappointed with a point from that. Would have loved to have hung on but the signs are still good. We seem to beat the teams below us and give the teams in the top 6 a good game.
Is Moke the new Harpal Singh?!

Moke can play a lot better taking on defenders but too often the end ball let's him down. Today he didn't seem to be at the races. Needs to get stuck in and fight more. Ormson kicked a few his way and he didn't make one header. Like the guy but he really needs to do better, but on today's performance I seriously doubt if he will play next couple of matches. Jevons wasn't happy with him either. When he's good he's decent it's just the in betweens...

Cheers for that, ceefer. If he is to be dropped then hopefully a spell on the sidelines will shake him up.

I found myself this afternoon not to be Macc Junior's 'plus one' parent of choice to accompany him at the X Factor matinee gig - and, on hearing the final whistle at EP, felt that he had made the right call... just. (Even though the family tickets at The Phones 4 U Arena were upgraded, and Mrs Macc got to quaff champagne there!!)
It was rather a patchy and frustrating match, although, to be honest, the draw was a fair result - albeit a disappointing one, after County had come from behind and upped their game to take the lead. Solihull applied considerable pressure thereafter, and the disallowed effort (for handball, as it turns out), together with a great point-blank save by Ormson, combined to suggest that we might be living on borrowed time. Their equaliser was no more than the visitors and sixty noisy travelling fans deserved.
Battersby's introduction after the interval really made a difference, and he took his goal well. On the evidence of this afternoon and the half that he played at Telford, he looks set to make a name for himself in SK3. Jevons' chip was a touch of class, too. He has stepped up several notches since playing under Lordy and assuming the Captaincy.
On the 'minus' side, Moke was shockingly poor for the second consecutive game. His game may not be suited to the heavy pitches, but, pace aside, he consistently fails to pose a threat to opposing defences. Other players - including, unusually, Churchman and Jacobs - were too often caught in possession this afternoon.
The giant hulk of a defender that is Exodus Geohaghon now plies his trade for Solihull, having appeared at EP earlier this season when Worcester came a-visiting. County will need to look out for his throw-in bullets during the return fixture.
Good to watch the match with Sandy, Shropshire and Moscow Road Mod (yes, he made it), as well as to see County Tom and Sirius, and their respective Dads, in The Oak beforehand!

Thanks for the updates and reports, team.
Sounds like a fair result and a pretty good point. Glad to see Battersby starting well. Long may it continue!
