Why is the Arsenal v Bayern game on Sky 1, and not on Sky Sports? Not that I'm complaining though.

They did it with a Manyoo game earlier in the season, mate. I think that although it's still dependant on a subscription, it's still decent for anyone without Sky Sports, and I've quite enjoyed the Arsenal game myself to be honest.

1-0 Bayern, courtesy of a beauty of a strike by a rarity in football, a two-footed German midfielder! *
* sarcasm.

An enjoyable game.
Bill Leslie is one of the better commentators, in fact one of the best. Can't stand Tyler, sell by date and gone etc.

Agreed, Rog. I used to like Clive's commentary, until the likes of "Drog-baaaaaaaaa" and "O-dem-WIN-GI" appeared! I don't think having Andy 'plastic Irishman'* Townsend by his side helped his cause either. I do think Andy Hinchcliffe is a decent summariser on Sky Sports, he knows his football and doesn't overdo it. * copyright Teddy Sheringham. I always liked Teddy as a player, and that took him up another notch when he said that!

Bayern were phenomenal second half - passed Arsenal to death - IMO the most complete team on the planet.

Can't argue with that, gts, and quite fittingly the holders of the trophy.

I was convinced Arsenal would win, the sending off, for me anyway, completely changed the game I think, if that penalty had gone in then who knows, s'pose you can say that for theirs as well!
Hopefully but doubtfully, they can turn it around in Munich!
