Unfortunately my first post is to make a sad announcement. Hopefully there will be more happy one's in the future.
My dad Denis Moran who has supported County since the 1950's has sadly passed away. I did have an announcement made at half time at last Saturday's match but I'm not sure everybody who knew him (and there were many) would have heard it. He usually sat in the Main Stand in Block C front row, so he knew many there around & about.
For those Heavener's that knew him who would wish to attend, details of the funeral are as follows:
Stockport Crematorium - Cypress Chapel, Monday 10th Sept @ 1:30 pm. Afterwards to celebrate his life we will be at County's Suite CCE1 3 pm onwards.

Very sorry to hear of your own personal loss, and the loss of one of the County family. Being a Cheadle Ender of many years, I'm afraid I didn't know your Dad, but feel sure there will be a good turnout for him.
My sincere condolences, and hopefully - as you say - you can still stick around and join in everything County Heaven has to offer.
A warm welcome and my sincere condolences to you, your family and friends, mate.
It's always sad to read or hear about the loss of a member of the County family, but I'm sure he will be heavily represented by his friends and fellow fans, with his life and passion for our great club celebrated in a thoroughly fitting manner.
I've announced this thread so that it appears at the top of every board on the forum for maximum exposure.

Also sorry to hear this Aero. I did not know Denis but with supporting County since the Fifties he must have had some stories to tell. RIP Denis and condolences to you and your family at this difficult time.
