That's a massive boost to our run-in!

Really good news. And Oldham... please let the lad be part of a Championship winning side before he returns to you! And then let him join us permanently for the NL campaign. Thanks.

Fantastic news - just the boost we need (not that confidence is not already sky high) Available until just before last game of season - if that happens with Nuneaton looking very precarious with their financial black hole

Fantastic, apart from anything else it means Keane can revert back to his preferred midfield role rather than Centre Half as he did on Tuesday.

Superb news and a sign of intent. Good to see us speculating to accumulate.

Fantastic additional attacking option - and a real statement of intent for the run-in.
I have posted, in the last year or so, more positive tweets about Gilchrist than any other opposing player. Always a danger up top against us. Fingers crossed, he will do the business in a County shirt!

Good to see there's still money left in the budget. A good move by Jim and sure to increase competition for places.
Same initials as Jim so he must be good.

...and not be at all like another late season signing to help a promotion push who had previously done well against county...one k charlery! we paid decent money for him and he depreciated more quickly than a new car...
actually, as long as the outcome for the season's the same, i'm sure we'll be happy.

The thing with Charlery was that he was utter dog sh*t when we beat them at EP earlier in the season. We lost the away fixture 3-2 if I remember correctly, with Adcock causing most of our problems, so he must have had a good day for them when it mattered - albeit thanks to Messrs Bodenham and Charnley.
To this day I don't know why Jonesy brought him in.

My memory of Charlery was that, while he did nothing for us in front of goal, he did hold the ball up quite well in some of those tense, late-season fixtures of 1996/97, when all around him were dog tired from having played 60-plus matches. Still can't forgive him - or, more to the point, Martin Bodenham - for THAT goal against us at Wembley, mind...
