Whilst I care little these days about the ongoing soap opera that is the Premier League, I am becoming appalled by the way that these chairman, usually from shores other than our own (factual, not racist), seem to behave in a way that shows no regard for fans or players or even at times humanity.
At this point I would obviously claim that I do feel sorry for the fans of the clubs involved and that I bear no malice to these clubs, but I have to say that due to the behaviour of the money men, I really hope that Cardiff, Fulham and West Brom are relegated this year. The managers (4 now in total) who have been relieved of their duty, all have seemed to be decent men who had done excellent work and could have saved the team.
The money now involved in the PL is so great that these people simply do not care about people and will stop at nothing to try to stay up. Hats off to Gold / Sullivan who have said they will stick by Big Sam and up to now have done so.
Quite cross really

on the credit side for the fulham chairman, he did take down plastic michael jackson post haste; but two managers sacked on his watch already? what will his interest be like at the end of next season when they've finished mid-table in the championship?

Good post, Bristol, the Premier League is an absolute bloody farce.
Thank you, Dad, for being too tight to take me to Maine Road and instead taking me to watch County all those years ago.

Big Sam is the only one left and I was on the band wagon to get rid but you are right. Gold and Sullivan have stuck by their man and things have got better....for now.
The interference of foreign businessmen is worrying but the softies at the FA won't do anything about it.

at least up until the last few games you could see the rationale for canning sam - had a reasonably fair crack of the whip, never really liked by the fans, in relegation trouble, put all the club's eggs in one injury-prone, ponytailed basket...
but they've stuck with him and now they're in the top half...

That is because Sky and the Premier League have the FA's nether regions (assuming they had any in the first place) in a vice-like grip, and in my opinion will take their ball, their money and their league, and set it up elsewhere. They have the money and influence to do it.
The FA are amateurs.

Are we still looking for a Chairman?

Just because we don't have a chairman doesn't mean we're looking Rog.
We also have no investment and I'm not sure our CEO is looking for this either

The only thing our 'CEO', or 'Compulsive Employee Offloader' to give him his proper title, is looking to add to is his CV.

If all goes to plan, Fitzy will be our new Chairman, which would be a great appointment

It's time the premier league sponsored the conference north. It d be peanuts for them( its rumoured skrill pay just 10k to each club) and just imagine being in the Premier (league) North and getting promoted to the Premier (League ) Premier... Gets a bit silly then but you know what I mean....

It's about time the Premier League gave something back to football full stop, mate, because since day one all they've done is take, take, take.

And as for the players agents... No wonder Tunni fancies himself as a players agent...it will be right up his street
