Well....
What a difference a month or two makes. I will hold my hands up and appolagise to Mr Lord. I called you out and you responded. It wasn't just me but I know that it annoyed him because he holds the views of all fans very close. We have a team now capable of pushing for play offs. I mean why not. I know some say its too late but is it? I don't know Personally I will be happy finishing 11th but I know this team is capable of the Play offs and Kristian Dennis is coming good just at the right time. 3000 county fans there today COME ON COUNTY.

We are capable of the play-offs but it's a bit far ahead to be thinking about the play-offs, we're still 14 points ahead, that's still 5 wins but if we keep chipping away lets just see where we are in a months time or so.

performances of late have improved considerably. home or away we are proving to be a much better organised team. this is what was needed as I have said before the squad needed time to bond and so it has proved. this season a play off place might just be one ask too much but the players have proved to themselves and the fans that if you apply yourself on the pitch the results will come. good result against the vegas !

Mirroring Stuine's thoughts there. The team are really coming together and the results show this. As a fan, this is a great feeling after the years of heartache. Dare I say, we have a squad and a coaching staff that really care about this club and want to do their best. A team with passion and a willing to fight for a win?........Yes please!!!

I think that perhaps the best thing will be heading into the business end of the season for the first time in three years or so, and not having the spectre of another relegation hanging over us. At various points before Christmas, a drop into the Evo-Stik (and, more likely than not, extinction) looked a real possibility, so real credit is due to Lordy and the players for playing themselves out of that danger.
The Play-offs are probably just out of reach this term, and, to be honest, I think the squad needs some more strength in depth before mixing it again with other Conference Premier outfits. (Just look at how Chester, who were untouchable at this level a year ago, have struggled since their promotion.) But the longer this current, good run of form continues, the better!

If you look at that defence Jacobs, Cowen, Lees and Duxbury and with Ormson stepping up and Dibble looking good. Dennis and Jevons linking up well with Oates and dicko to act as support. Churchman and Platt in the midfield with Mokes and Howard. That team looks like a play off form team. We could do this in the play offs and build with Lords knowledge it wouldnt be hard adding to the squad. Like I said I would be happy with mid table but come on lets see if we can push this team into the play offs as fans.

Form wise - if you look back over the last 10 games, only North Ferriby (of the top 6) are in the top 3 (and that's joint with us) Interestingly Barrow are the form team at the moment (just above us in the league) and Colwyn Bay are the 2nd in form team (just ahead of Barrow)! The current quality is all mid table!

I'm still unsure on Nicky Platt, frustratingly inconsistent

I'm still unsure on Nicky Platt, frustratingly inconsistent I hear you Fudgie. He can play, no doubt about that, and he's definitely upped his game in recent weeks but, for me, I still believe he's only at 80% commitment wise. There's a star player in there somewhere...be lovely to see the midfield general we all know lies under the surface turn out week after week.

Platt without doubt has shown glimpses of real talent but as you say it's his commitment, he's shirked one or two 50/50s and seemed a tad uninterested at times, he's getting a lot better though hopefully Lordy gave him an ultimatum!

I'm still unsure on Nicky Platt, frustratingly inconsistent I think that head injury in Corrie has delayed his progress somewhat.

Platt was one of the players I wanted him gone in December as I thought the same thing as mentioned. However I think he has picked up and really starting to show some talent and skill. And he's 100% better than Moses.

Moses is like Platt to me, can show some real talent at times but at other times looks uninterested like he's never kicked a ball before
