A game of 2 halves with Gary Stopforth named as the sponsors MotM. He always gives 100% and is a good example to some of the other players.
My vote however goes to McKenna for taking on the opposition with 'marauding' runs and putting in some decent crosses. That first 25 mins was amazing stuff just a pity we couldnt bury the ball in the back of the net.
Over to you..

Yup, felt Mckenna was really at the races during the first 30 especially. I'll go with Dux though as he was pretty effective himself from LB across the 90 - certainly a player who has stepped up a notch from last season.

Would have been rather less of a dilemma , had we held on for the point - as I felt that both Cowan and Duxbury were having decent games, but, as members of the back four, they do need to take some responsibility for our inability to defend effectively.
McKenna was, without doubt, Man of the Match for the first half - although he faded after the break, and was clearly spent by the time an hour was up.
My vote goes to Sam Walker. Not outstanding, but consistently industrious, today.

Duxbury gets the podium place ahead of McKenna, Walker & Stopforth.
Thanks for voting.
