Credit to the Southport fans for not leaving before the final whistle... was there a lockdown?
Sponsors man of the match was Oswell.
For me it could have been any of Stephenson, Ball, Warburton or Oswell.
My vote narrowly goes to Stephenson for showing us how he really can play.
O'Halloran back = a clean sheet.
Over to you ...poll closes Sunday 11.30pm

Too many from whom to choose - which is a nice problem to have! - but Sam Walker's three assists from pin-point-perfect deliveries earn him my vote.

No-one had a poor game and some did well in what are especially demanding roles in that shape (Winter/Walker on the sides of the diamond, and full backs) but I'll also plump for Warburton. The first goal set the tone for the night - pressing, interplay, driving with it and then keeping calm to finish. In essence, the goal summed up the mentality the team went out and it was great to see crisp football with players running, passing, crossing and shooting like they meant it.
As for particular 'single' moments - O'Halloran got a foot in to stop a shot in the box, Clarke and S.Walker flung themselves to block a shot and Cowan absolutely UsainBolted it across the pitch to stop a break. The clean sheet looked like it really mattered to them, I was pleased to see such things beyond the 6 goals!
