Maccy - 'Three changes from last Saturday's starters at Leamington, then - with ).Duxbury, Sam Walker & McKenna replacing Hampson, Winter & Stephenson'. Clarke (Capt).
The Sponsors Man of the Match was awarded to Sam Walker.
This vote could go to just about any of the players today. I'm looking forward to seeing Tom Walker play 90 mins at Tamworth on Monday. You could see the ball control and skill he has. For me Minihan, Duxbury & Cowan were the stand out players. Minihan gets my vote this time round.
Over to you ...........the poll closes on Friday 1/9 at 11.30pm

Plenty of pleasing individual performances - including those by players you mention, ceefer - but my vote today goes to Ben McKenna.
County desperately needed a bit of magic to break down an obdurate Trinity side that went all-out to frustrate our attack. And, having been a lively threat in the first half, McKenna provided it after the interval with a shimmy down the left and a pin-point perfect cross - in very much the same vein as he used to do for StalyVegas against us!
Delighted, incidentally, for Sam Walker - who, after a difficult start to his County career, appears on the evidence of last Saturday's effective substitute appearance, and today's 90 minutes, to be truly blossoming.

With Trinity setting up with 2 sitting central midfielders, there was a risk that McKenna would neutralise himself as well as Warburton by drifting too far in-field. Once 'on task' he was incredibly effective at stretching their defence and ultimately created the well-finished goal. The other 'shout' for MOM for me is Duxbury who, although conceding a few sloppy fouls, stayed focused and did some driving runs of his own. Too often he looks like there's a slight delay between his mind and his feet, but today there was none of that and everything seemed purposeful and he avoided complicating his dribbles by being direct and strong. A difficult one but, as it was the all-important goal, McKenna gets my vote too.

i'm going for duxbury. i think it was a game filled with good, but not outstanding performances, and i was most impressed by duxbury because i've thought he was a busted flush for a while. on today's performance he was miles better than my usual expectations of him.
