Frustrating for them, but they need to ‘let it go...’

A quick new-year's catch up on things Yoker...
The team has not taken to the field in over a month, but is set to do this Saturday. That fixture, and following ones, below:

Cheers for the update, Maccy.
They must get some real heavy backlogs of games up there, it's an achievement in itself to actually complete a season given all the postponements they have to deal with.

Indeed so, matey. Frustrating for Yoker... although potentially good for any of us Heaveners who fancy a trip up there in May, once there are no clashes with County, to cheer them on!

Astonishingly, Yoker's game on Saturday took place - with our adopted faves twice coming from behind to earn a draw:

But this last Saturday, the weather was the winner:

They're going to need 8 days in a week to cope with their backlog if this carries on!

no need of extra summer football in 2018 with a world cup on for england to crash out of in the second round...

A second successive Saturday postponement for our second-faves yesterday - which, I guess, does at least keep their name in the hat for the next-round draw...!

Wahey - Yoker not only get a first game played in three weeks, but also win it! Goals from Hynes and Maitland see our adopted faves through to the next round...

Unless I'm mistaken, that game will actually have been played just a few miles up the road from where my brother lives (he lives in Seafield, West Lothian). For a bit of useless trivia, Susan Boyle lives in Blackburn, which is in between Whitburn and Seafield! Shut up, Gazz - you're embarrassing yourself!

Yoker at home, and back in League action, last Saturday - only to fall to the only goal of the game, seven minutes from time:
