Oops - clean forgot about a Yoker update for last weekend! Well... this is what was occurring:

And Yoker got through! 3-1 the final score - with goals by Hynes (24), Henry (penalty - 41) and Young (76). Still, clearly, very much up for the (Scottish Junior) Cup. Go, Yoker!

A draw snatched from the jaws of almost-certain victory by Yoker today, as a three-goal lead was surrendered to St Roch's.
Goals by Bissland (32), Maitland (70) and Rankin (80) put our faves on course for three points with ten minutes remaining, before their hosts struck on 88 minutes and then twice in added time to secure an unlikely share of the spoils.
Remembering our FA Cup-tie against this afternoon's visitors to EP, we do, at least, know how they must feel...

crikey. you'd think you'd secured the points 3-0 up after 80 minutes - that's a fairly epic collapse.

Agreed, exile. 'Yellow Yoker Board' will have been in absolute meltdown last night...

Agreed, exile. 'Yellow Yoker Board' will have been in absolute meltdown last night... RoyalYokerBlue wants the manager hung drawn and quartered. DaveYokerOrg and Yoker1886 have asked all the "morons" to stop buying tickets from the club but offered to run it as long as everyone pays twice as much. DosserYoker says everything is fine and to expect Champions League football in 2020.

And somewhere on social media, DYOrg is also confirming the the manager has left his post.

Summary of Yoker's match of last Saturday on the club website (my underlining): Yoker threw away a three goal lead in the last 10 minutes against St Roch's last week. This should have been a comfortable victory for the Whe Ho, not helped by the additional six minutes added by the referee.
It happens...

As for yesterday... well, this is the last tweet posted by Yoker, ahead of a West of Scotland First Round Cup-tie:
Will endeavour to find out more, if I can!

Found it! Although, sadly, Yoker bowed out by the odd goal in five...

By way of further information - which makes Yoker sound more like County with each passing week - Cree twice gave our north-of-the-boder faves the lead, only for Maybole to equalise each time, and finally to edge the tie courtesy of an own goal.
Ah, well - there's always next season...

Back to league action for Yoker yesterday. The club appears to have given up on live match-tweeting, so - over we go to hosts, Wishaw Juniors, for news of the outcome...

Oh dear.
The latest league table, again courtesy of Wishaw's Tweetmeister, shows our faves rather off the pace in 11th:
