Your post has also prompted/shamed me into catching up with how our Scottish faves are faring thus far in 2019/20. And the answer is... not at all badly!

Ashfield look like they’ve joined the wrong league, they should be in the strict Presbyterian simple names only league

Why are Forth Wanderers fifth ?
Reminds me of one of our Walking Footballers - as a junior he played for Third Lanark (only because there wasn't a Fourth Lanark)

Forth Wanderers are the club for whom the former Arsenal and Scotland International 'keeper first turned out as a youth player. For those of us of a certain vintage, you may remember him playing for Arsenal in a League Cup tie at EP during the early '80's. It was his mistake from a mishit clearance that smacked into his own defender (Young if memory serves) with the rebound falling to Les Bradd who scored to bring a bit of respectability to the scoreline after Arsenal had strolled into a 3-0 lead.

Haha, it's a good job one of us is paying attention! Yes, George Wood did you go to roker park in that run NYE? i went to sealand road and then the replay at EP, as well as the home games against sunderland and arsenal.
here's george wood back in the days where the tabloids would get all sorts of costumes and props for the players and have them pose unconvincingly and looking uncomfortable - hence also the tommy sword with crossed sabres over his head during that cup run.

I did mate, stopped off in a pub for a celebratory snort. Turned out the landlord was a toon and we ended up stopping the night on account of getting bladdered on the house. Most enjoyable.
