Looks like a really open tournament this year with no one side dominating which should make for exciting games right up to the last weekend.
The only certainty seems to be the words 'Scotland' and 'wooden spoon' appearing in the same sentence!

Too true, matey - and, for all my celtic bravado, I have to admit that the Welsh will have to up their game somewhat from Saturday's rather-less-than-convincing performance! Well, at least I was right about that! Not going to stop me having a little sulk, mind...

Great performance from England, missed the Ireland Wales game but it sounded as though your boys never left Cardiff Macc!

Sadly true, Dudders bach!
That said, the Irish looked in very good nick. They will be there or thereabouts...

They've not left Dublin yet, the Twickenham clash will be interesting!

Crucial game for England this weekend, lose and our six nations hopes will be effectively over and I think it'll come down to a direct battle between France and Ireland

No games this weekend, Fudgie, but England's next game will certainly tell us a lot. In what looks a pretty even (well, for France, Wales, England and Ireland anyway) year it will probably come down to who can nick a result away from home.

Did anyone watch the Wales vs France game last night?
A shockingly poor game. More than half the scrums ended in penalties with 2 players getting yellow cards for collapsing the scrum.
The game was also a perfect example of why I prefer Rugby League:
League - 5 tackles and a kick Union - 5 kicks and a tackle. Yawn

I prefer league as well mate, an ideal result that could see us go top if we can get a win by 14 or more points, hard but doable task!

I hope England thump the Irish; I think England will win but by 6 points (a number divisible by 3 which is likely as most / all scoring is from penalties in Union!)

If they do, it will be one of the most open competitions in years. Not exactly a vintage match in Cardiff last night, Eppers, as you say - although the result (with which I was personally delighted ) has helped to keep things interesting...

Never mind the quality, feel the width.
And it is certainly a wide open competition this year.

Well the win is certainly an interesting one, this now means that we need to hope we beat Wales at Twickenham and that France beat Ireland on the last week but that France also don't beat Scotland or Ireland by a bigger combined score than our games over Wales and Italy!

What do you mean hope to beat the welsh fudge. Of course stuff 'em and send them back down the M4 smarting.
Went to visit Dudlette for her birthday the other week in Cardiff. She had been watching the game in the pub and had a dragon painted on each cheek. Almost didn't let her in the car
