Yes….in the cause of raising £1000 for the Guardian Account Matthew is putting in the miles and the hard work! To date , with massive help from County supporters and friends, he has hit £430 . Message from Help the Hatters- The Bungalow , Hardcastle Road.
It was rumoured that the Bung was ready to close, hence Help the Hatters decided to stop supporting the Players Fund from there.
However, after a recent convivial meeting with Cliff and Dawn , Help the Hatters have agreed to resume supporting the Bung, raising money for the Players Fund , keeping the place tidy on match days and keep looking after County supporters by serving food pre match as well as trying to bring players and player presentations to the Bung whenever possible.
We hope that this short message explains things sufficiently, so please carry on supporting Help the Hatters and the Bung on match days .
Any questions on this matter should be directed to Fitzy on 07858 723106.
This Saturday Hamburgers and Onions are on before the Leamington game.

Bung Presentation This Saturday.
Help the Hatters will be serving food again, in the Bung, before County`s match with Boston United this Saturday, from around 1 ish.
There will also be a special moment when Help the Hatters, acknowledging James Gannon`s 50th birthday, make a presentation to him.

County`s Under 19 team opened their season with a 1-2 defeat at the hands of a well organised Marine side at the home of near neighbours Cheadle Heath Nomads this afternoon.
With Cavan McDonald and Keiran Morrisey providing support for County`s early forward moves, things looked bright , as Saajid Elhassan and Michael Gaskell caused Marine real problems.
Indeed it got even brighter when Jack Hodgkinson pulled a considerable rabbit from his hat by lashing a snorter home from distance to give the blues the lead on 20 minutes.
Elhassan meanwhile continued to shine, hitting the bar with one shot that deserved better 5 minutes later. Chris Scott had struck the foot of a post earlier, thus with Marine having to work hard to keep County out another goal did not look long off.
But when it came it was Marine`s as a mix up at the back saw the Marine 7 take advantage and equalise.
That was a shock and County seemed to carry the after effects into the second half as Marine came at them with renewed vigour, but Festus Arthur and his fellow defenders seemed to have weathered the storm when another defensive error , 70 minutes in, gifted Marine what turned out to be the winner.
County, driven on by the hugely impressive Elhassan, piled it on in the last 20 minutes , the diminutive number 10 again seeing a shot thud against the bar with the keeper beaten.
Yes….County clearly wanted it, but it was too late and Marine held out heroically to take the win.

Please be advised that the funeral for Joyce Hopper will take place on Monday 17 September at 1.45 in the Rowan Chapel at Stockport Crematorium.
