Some fantastic photos on there too, not least of senior and junior Sandys and the hat swap with the local Bobby - great stuff!

An Apology......
Posted by hedgegrower on 23/4/2017, 12:00 pm
I am biased obviously, but I think that the hedgegrower Away Ground Guides provide a useful service to County fans.
I think they are reasonably accurate too, but yesterday there was room for improvement in so far as the real ale pub recommendations are concerned.
Old hedgie recommended the `Gaping Goose' , and following his own advice sook...seeked...?? the boozer out only to find it closed after a climb up a steepish hill.
To any supporters who similarly sought( got it now) the place out- my apologies, needless to say the `Gaping Goose...open or not....will no longer feature going forward.
Meanwhile feel free to let me know of any inacuracies etc that occur to you in old hedgies scribbles.

Big thanks to all who turned out this morning for the second Car Boot of the year ( some are still there toiling away!) Tomorrow sees us back with a Clean Up session at Edgeley Park, so please turn out circa 10 am tomorrow ( Tuesday) and enter via the Pop Side gate. Meanwhile, and finally, some excellent photos from the Bung, taken by A Man in a Hat, I understand Matty made a brilliant fist of welcoming Kiko and Luis in their own language- did us proud !

`Out of Stockport ' Stockport County supporter Adrian Caville has roots in Africa, as well as Stockport, in Zimbabwe to be precise! `Out of Stockport' is penned by Adrian and tells of his visit there in 1996. Read it now, and find out about the authors encounters with lions, tigers...a bull elephant...and a pig more precocious and interesting than any a former PM might have encountered in his privileged lifetime. `Out of Stockport' then.....catch up with it now ! hedgegrower.blogspot.com
