I think, in light of the fact we have to be careful to make sure the credits aren't all 'cashed' immediately, would it make sense for contributing Heaveners to send the funds to one of the admin team and we organise it from there? I've given out my bank details to enough Heaveners now through CHAOS to be trusting enough of you all, so I'm happy to organise if need be?!
Alternatively, a Gazza-esque 'idiots guide' is always a useful tool - it certainly helped me when I was adding credits last week!

I think in this case, Sandy, straight into your bank would be the best option. Just to keep things simple, because you already know what to do, and it'll be a much smoother process as you can add all the page views all in one go.

Fine with me. Is £8 per person enough or do you need more?

The figures for page views have been ever-so-slightly confused with the fact that they work in USD.
A one-off payment of 50,000 page views costs $8 USD (£4.87), whereas 100,000 page views costs $16 USD (£9.75)
We will be somewhere between the 70,000 and 90,000 mark for page views per month, and they don't carry over unfortunately.
I hope that clears things up a bit better, and isn't too much of a difference to affect the kind offers that we have already received.
Cheers, guys.

The prices are still OK with me for 1 or 2 months if need be. Does anyone who's buying it have the Barclays Pingit app?? I can send you whatever money is required as and when you need it? If not i'll send my phone number to whoever needs it so they can send me their bank details and i'll send the money that way.

Changing the beginning of this thread-title from 'Closure' to 'Reprieve'. Very many thanks to all Heaveners who have pledged their support to help ensure that we remain ad-free !

any chance we can have a team paypal account that one person - sandy for instance - can take payment from? i know there's a 4% charge on it, but it truly is easy to use.
and i volunteered quietly by pm, rather than this (much appreciated) crass loadsamoney-ing!

'reprieve of the game threads', by the way, sounds like a 'star wars' title even george lucas rejected.

Thanks for your support, ars, really is much appreciated. The only problem with PayPal is that Proboards don't use them due to some spat (apparently) in the past, so we have to use a bank. Also, if you still decide to pay funds into PayPal it still has to be linked to a bank account, and it takes about 5 to 7 days to transfer them into that bank to pay for the page views. It's a bit like going across town to get a friend to give your next door neighbour the tenner you owe him. It's easy to use, but it's not the simplest way.

fair enough - i've only paid using it, not received payment; so i hadn't thought about it being a normal slow transfer to your account.

Hopefully Sandy should have my months contribution today - so use it when you need to, to keep the adverts off
