Ferris Bueller's Day Off.I can take or (more often) leave most high school teen-movies - but this is is great, because it is genuinely amusing, and, more to the point, about having fun! Absolutely craved the Ferrari - and loved the soundtrack, although it was, alas, never officially released.

Mentions for Falling Down, Finding Nemo, First Blood, A Fistful of Dollars, The Fly, Fort Apache: The Bronx and Full Metal Jacket.
But my vote goes to For a Few Dollars More.
Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef teaming up to get the bad guy (the brilliant Gian Maria Volontè). Great music. Great imagery. Great film.

You disappoint me, Sanders. From Russia with Love - best Bond movie ever?......it's up there. Ah, it was on my longer shortlist (as was Ferris Bueller for what it's worth - although have never been a huge fan myself), but I didn't want to 'over Bond' the list as there are a few more weeks to come with 007 in. Just trying to keep it varied. As it happens, 'From Russia With Love' is getting my personal vote.

Apologies as well, since both Dudders and Downy have mentioned First Blood, but I always thought it was 'Rambo: First Blood' so I had it in my shortlist for Week R. Having checked, I'm mistaken, and that would have made this week's shortlist. Of course, you can still vote for it anyway and I'll swap something else in to replace it for Week R!
Sorry chaps!

Most of the 'F' films I've seen have been to give my brain a break rather than challenge it and I really quite enjoyed lightweight films like Flashdance and Follow That Dream. Fatal Attraction was well made if slightly predictable but my vote goes to From Russia With Love because it was the Bond film closest to the tone of the books.

mentions for falling down, the filth and the fury, the original 'the fog'.
winner is fargo. coens, frances mcdormand and steve buscemi. brilliant white snow for a very black comedy. i have also really enjoyed the series which has been on channel 4, starring across its two series the likes of martin freeman, kirsten dunst and ted danson.
