A brilliant actor, obviously best known for the role of Trigger in Only Fools and Horses, died yesterday at 69 years old.
RIP.

Sad news. This is one of my favourite all time comedy lines:
"If it's a girl they're calling her Sigourney after an actress, and if it's a boy they're naming him Rodney, after Dave."
Brilliant writing, but could only have been delivered by Trig.

"........ was that the Italian boy?........" Classic character, and who can forget Owen Newitt and his farting duck! Absolutely brilliant that was. Sorry it's a crap clip, it was the best youtube had to offer

Rodney: Trig, why do you call me Dave? My name's not Dave. My name's Rodney Trigger: I thought it was Dave Rodney: No it's not. Trigger: Are you sure?
John Sullivan was a genius. The actors who played their part in "Fools" portrayed his writing to perfection and that of course includes "Trigger".
"Trig" was an excellent actor.
The announcement of his death has come as a shock and is very sad news,
RIP

Sad news, his best line was about his roadsweeping brush.....
Had the same one for 20 odd years. Only had 4 new heads and 3 new handles (or there abouts)
Brilliant stuff.

The genius of John Sullivan, and of the actors themselves of course, ensured that to many of us, Trigger, Del, Rodney, Denzil etc were like our mates too. Myself and my brother and sister grew up watching 'Trigger' it's a sad loss for British TV.
