Right, no point delaying this any longer. I know Clue 5 has only just gone up, but it's merely a formality as all of you arrived at Luton Town at the start of the week! You also, by now, know that Luton Town is the finish line - so well done for all making it!
Before I get to the scores at the end of Week 5, let's deal with the Bergara points first. The recipients this week were Benno AGAIN (for the Main Standers) and Market Harborough and Gazza (from the Pop Siders). This means that the point gap between the Cheadle Enders (our current leaders) and the Main Standers (currently second) has been shortened from 7 to 6, but perhaps more interestingly the gap from the Main Standers to the Pop Siders, which was 3, is now just one solitary point.
It's all going down to the link...

The postcodes of the grounds we have visited throughout the quiz are as follows:
SA CO CA IV LU
Which, when re-arranged, spell out Luis Cavaco!
You all guessed this correctly by the end of the quiz, but remember that the points range from 10 down to 2, depending on the order you got it right.
I can now reveal that our winners are....

No surprises here then. With a six point lead as a cushion, it was perhaps a little too much for either of the other two teams to catch them, so congratulations to Bradders, Eppy and Archie, who are the winners of Quiz 77 with an astonishing 92 points!
But which of our remaining teams will be runners-up? There's just one point between them, remember!
The runners-up are....

It's the Pop Siders! Having trailed ever since Week 1, they pulled it together right at the end to nick the runners-up spot from the Main Standers.
With a bonus score of 19 points (incidentally the same bonus score as our winners from the Cheadle End), this was enough to take the Pop Siders (Lennie, Market Harborough and Gazza) past the Main Standers right at the finish line! Those two Bergara points certainly helped too.
Commiserations to:
The Main Standers - Downy, Benno and Maccy, who finished with an impressive 82 points, just two behind the Pop Siders.
Thanks everyone for taking part, hoped you enjoyed the quiz.
Now then, I've had an idea - fancy a race back to Sandbach?!

Well done to the Cheadle Enders but well done to all who took part as we all did well! Thanks Sandman for organising - I'll race back - perhaps via Europe (after all I am getting quite excited about having the Premier League Champions just 15 miles up the road)!!

Absolutely superb effort to grab that second place, Pop Siders - well done for not giving up, guys! Commiserations to the Main Standers, it was a close one, but very well played throughout! Cheadle Enders, you have my admiration, that was a stunning effort from start to finish - congrats, guys! Thanks for another superb quiz, Sandy. I don't know how you find the time, let alone how you manage to put them together in the first place, but we're sure glad you do! Brilliant as always, mate!

Cheers gents, and thanks again for taking part.
If I'm entirely honest, I spent yesterday lunchtime writing 'the race back to Sandbach' as a decider between the Pop Siders and Main Standers, because I mistakenly thought it was a tie. When I then came to check my figures, it turns out I really should use a calculator more often. I have since triple-checked and the scores above are definitely right, but I had already written the runner-up decider!
So, f*** it, you can ALL do it next week as a bonus quiz!
